Scapegoating Our Military Commanders

Step back. See the larger picture. A private in the Army accidentally discharges his weapon in the direction of friendly forces, killing a fellow soldier and is exonerated in a court martial. A General overseeing five thousand transportation-related Air Force personell somehow misses the fact that a low-ranking enlisted man loads a non-radioactive, non-fissile piece of nuclear missile related equipment onto a transport aircraft headed for a U.S. base on foreign soil, and he, his commander, and his commander, as well as two officers beneath him are drummed out of the military in dishonorable fashion, losing the status of their years of service as well as the paltry retirement they'd richly earned.

Now democrat politicians are very big about saying that they support our troops. It's the kind of hyperbole that you see spilling forth from the mouths of rinky-dink dictators of banana republics, you know, the kind that give themselves big titles and their countries names that start with "the people's republic of blah, blah, blah..."

Hey congress, military commanders are troops too! If you're so patriotic and support our troops, then stop bullying them as though they are criminals! Accidents happen. Typists make typing mistakes. Nuclear materials handlers make nuclear handling mistakes. No deaths have ever resulted. Why don't you just admit that the reason you're always cracking the head of our military commanders because you're part of the Anti-American, leftist crowd that sees our military as the strong arm of Obama's imperialist, oppressive, colonialistic U.S.?

These generals are literally the defenders of liberty. When you attack them, it really makes you look like the the enemies of liberty.
